Lafayette Public Library has a variety of book clubs for patrons who are looking for lively conversation about interesting reads while meeting new people. Whether you are interested in science fiction, history, romance, mystery, or just plain good fiction, we have a book club waiting for you to join! Check out what we have to offer:

Beyond Black History Month Book Club

Join us on the last Tuesday of the month from 6:00 —  7:00 pm at West Regional Library to discuss that month’s book on black history, critical race theory, and anti-racism. The club meets in person and over ZoomAges 14 & up.

Classics Book Club

Join us on the first Thursday of the month from 11:30 — 12:30 pm at South Regional Library to discuss a classic work of literature that the club selected for the month. The group meets in person and over ZoomAges 14 & up.

June 6: The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling by Henry Fielding (Part 1)

Fantasy & Sci-Fi Book Club

Join us on the first Monday of the month from 6:00 — 7:00 pm at the Main Library to discuss either a fantasy or science fiction novel that the group is reading together. Ages 18 & up.

History Book Club

Join us on the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30 — 7:30 pm at South Regional Library to discuss a book that delves into an historical topic. The club meets in person and over Zoom. Ages 14 & up.

Milton Book Club

Mystery Book Club
