Whether you’re looking for a book club, want to download an eBook, or are wondering about our digital magazines, we have something for you. Don’t forget about audiobooks — all of of our reading challenges count audiobooks the same as reading a physical book.

Flipster Digital Magazines – Enjoy copies of the latest magazines or past issues you may have missed from the comfort of your smartphone or personal computer. You can zoom in on those hard to see captions and print pages of magazines! Flipster has over fifty titles of interest to adults, including Entertainment Weekly, People, Southern Living, Field and Stream, Motor Trend and more!
Flipster also has an app you can download on your tablet or smartphone. After you download the app, search for Bayouland Library System and enter your library card number when prompted.

Libby, by OverDrive
Attention Overdrive users: read or listen to over 28,000 eBook titles and 5,200 audiobook titles online. You can search for a title or set your preferences and browse suggested titles then borrow or put them on hold instantly. New titles are added regularly, so you’ll never run out of material! Download the “Libby by OverDrive” app to read or listen to books on your smart phone or tablet. Libby allows you to read across devices (between smart phone and tablet) so that you never lose your bookmark! You can also download eBooks and audiobooks for offline reading, enjoy audiobooks in your car through Bluetooth connection, and even send your eBooks to your Kindle. Both services provide special sections just for kids and teens that filter out adult materials and includes eBooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, and read-alongs.

OverDrive
While this app has been replaced by Libby, patrons who prefer the classic OverDrive can still download the original app for both Apple and Android devices, as well as access the Bayouland E-Library Co-op collection. Overdrive will leave the App Store and the Google Play Store in early 2022 in order to switch new users to Libby, the newer e-book app.
