When registering for a new account with Zinio, you’ll be required to create two accounts. The first account is a verification of your valid Lafayette Public Library account, and the second is a personal login with Zinio. To get started, click here and locate the “Create Account!” icon on the right side of the page. You will be asked for your LPL Library Card number. Enter the number and click “Validate.” You will then be asked to provide your email address and create a password to set up your account. You’ll receive an email verifying your registration. Once you log on, click on the magazine you want. You will be redirected to Zinio’s site, where you will be required to create a login with their site. Enter your name and email address and create a password, then click the red “Register” icon. You will then be able to read your magazine!

” is the theme for the Lafayette Public Library 2013 Summer Reading Program. The South Regional branch will be offering a Summer Volunteer Program to students entering 8th – 11th grades in the 2013-2014 academic school year. Internationally known for her spicy style, Johnette Downing’s movin’ and groovin’ musical performances will start the kickoff with her concert ”Reading Rocks.” There will also be crafts, a fun jump, “Zoo Zoom” petting zoo and more. The Northside High Drill SQUAD will also perform their “Stepping” percussive dance routines! For details, call 981-1028.
