Community Access to Library Spaces
The Lafayette Public Library (LPL) extends the use of its meeting and conference rooms to community-based organizations when these spaces are not required for library activities. Our aim is to support local groups by providing a venue that fosters community engagement and learning.
Eligibility: To qualify for room usage, all groups must adhere to the criteria outlined in the Library Meeting Room Guidelines and Policies. This ensures that the use of our facilities aligns with the library's mission and values.
Application: Access to the library's meeting space is contingent upon the submission of the Official LPL Meeting Room Request Form. We kindly ask interested organizations to provide all necessary information to facilitate the approval process.
Consideration: The library will consider your request for meeting space after receiving the completed request form. Our team will review your application in accordance with the LPL’s policies and guidelines to ensure a fair and efficient allocation of our community spaces. Once your meeting reservation is confirmed, you will receive a room confirmation email from LibCal. If you have not received it by 7 days before your meeting reservation, please contact your branch's meeting room coordinator.

Booked on a first-come, first-served basis for two-hour increments. All study rooms have wireless internet access and dry erase boards.
