Heymann Center for the Performing Arts

Architect A. Hayes Town designed the first municipal auditorium in Lafayette in 1957, envisioned by Mayor Jerome Domengeaux and Herbert Heymann. The auditorium holds bimonthly performances by the Acadiana Symphony, a Broadway series and dozens of other community functions throughout the year.

Lafayette Art Association
Promotes, supports and encourages the visual arts, crafts, artists and photographers. Visit their art gallery located on St Mary Boulevard at the Oil Center.

Lafayette Ballet Theatre
For over 20 years, Lafayette Ballet Theatre has distinguished itself with annual presentations of full-length classical ballets.

Lafayette Concert Band
The LCB presents formal performances of traditional and contemporary wind band literature as well as more informal “pops” and outdoor concerts throughout the season.

Louisiana Crossroads
Louisiana Crossroads was honored at the Governor’s Arts Awards with the first-ever Cultural Economy Development Award for their efforts to develop Louisiana’s cultural and artistic heritage through live performances, radio and television broadcasts, recordings and related programming.

Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum
The Permanent Collection of the museum consists of more than 2000 works of art, including paintings, prints,  drawings, sculpture, and photographs. This collection represents 18th, 19th and 20th century Louisiana, as well as the  United States, Europe and Japan.

Performing Arts Society of Acadiana
PASA’s activities include not only main stage performances by exemplary artists, but also a wide range of educational opportunities and special presentations.
