Adult Grab & Go Crafts

Swing by a Lafayette Public Library drive-thru (Main Library and all Regional Libraries) and pick up a bag full of fun! Grab & Go bags will include all the supplies you’ll need plus instructions and an instructional YouTube video link! Recommended for adults.  No registration necessary; available while supplies last. 

 

Prick and Stitch Bookmark (beginning April 11): Create a paper embroidered bookmark using the prick and stitch technique.

DIY Decorative Charger Plate (beginning April 11): Using a decal made in the ERL Makerspace, turn a plain charger plate into a piece of home decor. (ERL Only)

Dice Tower (beginning April 11): Assemble your very own dice tower to use for tabletop and board games! The Makerspace provides the parts and instructions for you to build at home. Kits provided at Main on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ages 14 and up. (Main Only)

Fabricadabra! Bean Bag Door Stop (beginning April 18)

Art Journaling Group – Transformation (beginning April 18): Join us in combining art & literature to create amazing journal pages!  Each month will be a different theme & page in your journal.

Wire Photo Holder (beginning April 25): Create a simple wire holder to display your favorite photos or cards.

Springtime Wood Plaque (beginning May 5): Pick up a 6″ wooden square with a vinyl stencil based on a spring theme.

Fabricadabra! Twisted Headband (beginning May 9)

Origami Envelope (beginning May 16): Create a self-sealing envelope with origami paper for a nice card to be used on any occasion.

Art Journaling Group – Happiness (beginning May 16): Join us in combining art & literature to create amazing journal pages!  Each month will be a different theme & page in your journal.

Paper Strip Spring Art (beginning May 23): Create a festive piece of springtime art using colorful strips of patterned paper and a stencil.

Macrame Plant Hanger (beginning May 30): Learn the simple knots and techniques required to make a beautiful and functional plant hanger.
