Kids’ Grab & Go Crafts

Swing by a Lafayette Public Library drive-thru (Main Library and all Regional Libraries) and pick up a bag full of fun! Grab & Go bags will include most of the supplies you’ll need plus instructions and an instructional YouTube video link! Recommended for children. Available while supplies last. 

Wrist Parakeets (September 20 – September 26): Ahoy, matey! Every good pirate needs a bird as their sidekick! You’re no exception!


Tissue Paper Fall Wreath (September 27 -  October 3): Enjoy the colors of fall with a handmade wreath.

Owl Craft (October 4 – October 10): Who likes owls? Craft a unique sponge-painted owl.

Monster Masks (October 11 – October 17): (They made a mask) They made a monster mask (A monster mask) It was a Halloween smash!

Q-Tip Skeletons (October 18 – October 24):  Turn Q-Tips into a poseable skeleton friend. This project is sure to tickle your funny bone!

DIY Water Bottle Lanterns (October 18 – October 24): Make your own lantern from a water bottle and tissue paper!

Spiderwebs (October 25 – October 31): Make a creepy-crawly web using popsicle sticks and yarn!
