Kids’ Grab & Go Crafts

Swing by a Lafayette Public Library drive-thru (Main Library and all Regional Libraries) and pick up a bag full of fun! Grab & Go bags will include most of the supplies you’ll need plus instructions and an instructional YouTube video link! Recommended for children. Available while supplies last. 




Paper Chain Snakes (beginning April 11): Do you hear sssssssomething? EEK! It’s a snake! Grab this slithery craft during your next library visit.

Bee Puppets (beginning April 18): Bring home your very own bee puppets!

Bird Nests (beginning April 25): Tweet tweet! Let’s hatch some fun!

Star Wars X-Wing (beginning May 2): May the fourth be with you! Join the Resistance when you make this X-Wing starfighter.

Caterpillar Pom Pom Craft (beginning May 9): Put a spring in your step by making this buggy caterpillar friend out of pom poms and glue!

Shape Flowers (beginning May 16): Watch ordinary shapes turn into beautiful flowers!

Paper Bag Kites (beginning May 23): Sunny days are here again. Let’s go fly a kite!

Yarn Butterflies (beginning May 30): Use a simple weaving technique to make this beautiful butterfly!
