LPSS Student IDs serve as a Lafayette Public Library Card!
The Lafayette Public Library and the Lafayette Parish School System have teamed up for a sixth year to provide your child with a free Student ID-Public Library Card. This program automatically enrolls more than 33,500 Lafayette Parish public school students into the library system.
All Lafayette Parish School System students can check out books, movies, music, magazines, and games at any library in Lafayette Parish. Best of all, there are no fines. You can reserve a study room or library computer with your Student ID-Public Library Card number.
