Suggest Your Favorite Book Titles for West Regional Library

The new West Regional Library in Scott is taking shape! We are already busy working on the furniture, equipment, and shelving for the building in anticipation of opening early 2019. We would like your input on what book titles should be on the shelves.

We want to get your list of favorite adult, teen and children’s titles to add to the West Regional Library. Think titles you would recommend to a friend versus the classics you feel everyone else should read. No Moby Dick gathering dust at this library (unless, of course, it really is your favorite book)!

Starting Monday, May 14 you can enter your name, library card number and the title of 10 books you would like to see in the new collection. Novels, non-fiction and children’s titles are acceptable. The first 10 patrons that recommend a particular
title will have their names listed on a book plate in the book as having recommended that title. Library patrons at West Regional
can tell that a title comes highly recommended by others in the community when they open the book.

Sounds like fun to me as I always enjoy reading books recommended by others. *Visit: LafayettePublicLibrary.org/westbooks to enter your titles or use a paper entry form found at all locations. Deadline for submitting titles is Friday, August 31.
